Linda called this morning and wondered if we should do an update to give a visual picture on Tom's surgery recovery. He is fully mobile, taking short walks around the property and even doing everyday chores. He and Linda have gone on a few "field trips". He is feeling well other some soreness due to healing. When I have spoken to him on the phone, he sounds just as he always has.
I also wanted to mention that Tom's 60th b-day is August 30. I know he really wouldn't want me to say anything but 60 is a big deal! I have also had some requests for their address, and not wanting to put theirs online, I'll put mine, as it can just as easily be found on-line anyway.

This is excellent news! You can't keep your dad down for long, that's for sure. I will be calling him on his 60th birthday, since I'm in Mexico and regular mail is out of the question.
