Tuesday Evening

My mom and I have been in with my dad in ICU for the last few hours. He looks great and has a good sense of humor. He doesn't appear to have any difficulty with motor, speech, or memory. He's still pretty doped up and sleepy, but he ate all of his clear liquid dinner and will be able to move to solids tomorrow.

He is going to have an MRI sometime late tonight, which is done to ensure the doctors removed everything and to examine the "cavity" that is left over after the surgery. He will most likely move out of ICU to a regular room tomorrow morning.

Hello Hundt Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and I am glad to hear your Dad still has his sense of humor thru all this. I'll bet he will be glad to get on some solid food even if its hospital food. Give him our best and a big hug to Linda.
