I've been talking with my mom and dad almost every day. Tom seems to be feeling great - especially since he's gotten his anti-seizure medicine under control, which previously was giving him vertigo. Tony has them all hooked up with Internet and a computer now, and as soon as I'm able to go over there I'll have them connected to the blog so they can make their own posts and respond to your messages.
Tom has an appointment at U of M with his surgeon on Monday for a routine follow-up. On Tuesday, he is meeting with his radiation oncologist at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. At that time they will fit him for the mask/helmet that they will use to target the radiation over the next 6 - 7 weeks. In order for it to fit, he has to get his head shaved before the appointment, so we'll all get to see the scar after all!
As always, thank you for the thoughts, prayers, and nice notes.
