What a send-off. In a word, amazing. Thank you all for sharing this day with us. It was everything I could have hoped for my dad. There were many parts that I could talk about, but the one that took my breath away was walking out the door with the pall bearers after the service and seeing the State Police honor guard at "Present Arms" with the rest of the troops in sharp formation. I know that I swelled with pride for my dad that he was part of such an honorable outfit as the MSP.
Here are 3 links to click:
Tom's Online Memorial - Be sure to leave a story or a remembrance in the guest book. The ones that have already been written are a tresure.
The Text of David's Speech - Only because a ton of people asked. I could write a hundred of them for my dad and still have more to say.
Mike Snell's CD - Full disclosure: I don't get any royalties and Mike didn't put me up to using his song, ha ha! I had about 20 or more people ask about where to buy the CD and have gotten several more e-mails about it, so here you go! PS - It was Song #2 "I've Never Been to Carolina"
