I just left the hospital after spending the night with my dad. Linda was able to come home and get some much needed rest. Laurie guarded the phones so she could sleep, so if you tried to get in touch with Linda you might have been headed off this weekend!
It was great to see a spark in my dad's eye. He has been having some awful cramps and has been drugged up for the pain and not into talking or eating. But he was cramp free and pain-killer free for my whole visit, and he got some great sleep last night for the first time all week. His voice is still very soft and he pretty much just stays in the hospital bed, but I'm hoping we can get him eating and up out of bed more this week. He is receiving excellent care at the hospital. The nurses are all very good with him and are delighted when they can catch a glimpse of the famous Tom Hundt smile and personality.

Thank you so much for the updates! I know I can't be there in person so give Tom and Linda a big hug for me. I think of you all everyday and pray for you all to stay strong. Get better Tom!
