Linda called me today to tell me that Tom is back! He is awake, smiling and communicating as his normal self and even cracking jokes. He is currently doing daily physical therapy will resume chemo next week. He is beginning anti-angiogenesis therapy tomorrow.
I had to look up the therapy: "Anti-angiogenesis is a form of targeted therapy that uses drugs or other substances to stop tumors from making new blood vessels. Without a blood supply, tumors can't grow."
He is so focused on healing that they request no visitors, he is working hard on building his strength back up so he can go home. With this he requires much needed rest to continue to heal.
Dave and I are beyond ecstatic and and felt great to hear the excitement and joy in Linda's voice over the phone. I'm sure we will have amazing things to post soon.... keep up the prayers!

Such wonderful news and I am so happy for you, David, Linda and Tom to be able to share this. I continue to pray for God to give Tom strength to win his battle and strength for all of you to support him and eachother. I love you guys!
Go TOM !!!!! Billy is looking forward to having helicopter battles with you. He really misses you. We are praying for a steady recovery. Everyday may you become stronger. God is Great!!!
