I wanted to let all of Tom's buddies that have known him for years and thus also know of his obsession with fitness, that he is keeping it up! Every morning at around 6:30, he pops out of bed all excited about working out. He heads for our laundry room/work out area and flips out his yoga mat. He then does about 40-45 minutes of yoga, Pilates, and cals. In the afternoon if the weather is good he hops on his bicycle for a 4-5 mile ride. If it's bad he rides his Airdyne.
He had a temporary setback this week. One of his oncologists thought since he was doing so well, we would try to cut down on his steriod (controls swelling in the brain). He ended up having a couple of seizures a few days later. Needless to say, he is back on his original dosage.
My sister Pam, is getting ready to leave for Florida next Wednesday. She usually doesn't return until early June. We sure will miss her, but are so happy that she is headed to her beautiful winter home and fun friends. She has been a tireless helper, faithful supporter, and health food guru. She has made the past couple of months so much easier and a lot more fun. Linda
