Radiation, chapter 1

Don't worry, no details. Had the first actual radiation "treatment today" I feel good, no noticeable side effects.

Just for fun.... Neva, my oldest grand daughter, checks to see how I'm doing every couple days. To her, the worst thing in the world is getting a shot. She worries and emphasizes about all the shots I've endured. Recently during one of our conversations, she said, "Papa" (hesitated) then asked "Will your brain grow back?" My response was "I sure hope so."

Now that the treatment has really started, I can giver her an unequivical, Yes!!

Linda and I are strong and ready for anything. Thank all of you for prayers and support.

Neva is so sweet (when she wants to be). I can tell you right now she thinks about you guys all the time. She stayed with me and my mom a while back and she wast talking about how you were sick. It almost made me cry.

I am happy to hear that things are going well so far. I guess when my dad was sick he had a hard time, but medicine has come such a long way in the last 21 years, I hope that you continue to do well! Lots of love and prayers!

Ha ha, classic Neva. She and Anna can't get through the day without drawing Nana, Papa and the farm.
