Dave's 2 Cents

I spoke with my mom and dad earlier today. They were in very good spirits after a productive meeting with the doctor. To add to what Laurie already posted, the doctor indicated that he will not need to cut through any essential motor sections of the brain to get to the "mass". He expects that Tom will only have to stay in the hospital for 3 or 4 days. In the meantime, since the surgery is over a week away, the doctor is giving a slight increase in the dosage of the anti-seziure medicine.

If I hear anything between now and next Tuesday, I'll post an update here. Otherwise, I'll make a post after the surgery.

Tom and Linda are very appreciative of everyone's thoughts and prayers. They can't get over how much love and support they are feeling from friends and family. Feel free to leave a comment here on the blog or send me and Laurie a message. We'll be sure to share them with Tom and Linda.
